Life’s Sacred Moments

At King of Kings, we believe that God meets us in every season of life—in times of great joy and in moments of deep sorrow. Whether celebrating the covenant of marriage, welcoming a child through baptism, or honoring the life of a loved one, our church community surrounds you with prayer, care, and love.

Pr. Garrett is honored to walk alongside you and your family, helping to plan and celebrate life’s sacred moments in ways that are meaningful, personal, and rooted in faith. Together, we give thanks for God’s presence in every chapter of life. Please email Pr. Garrett to begin making arrangements for any special occasion.

In baptism, God names and claims us as beloved children, joining us to Christ and to the community of faith. At King of Kings, we welcome people of all ages to receive this sacrament of grace and new life. Baptisms are most often celebrated during Sunday worship so the whole community can rejoice with you, though other special arrangements can be made if needed. Pr. Garrett will walk with you in preparing for this holy moment, whether for yourself or your child.

At the Lord’s Table, we gather to receive Christ’s presence in bread and wine, given for us and for all. Communion is at the center of our worship and reminds us that God’s love knows no limits. All are welcome to the table—without exception. For children and families who would like to prepare for First Communion, Pr. Garrett offers classes to explore what the sacrament means and why it matters in our life together.

A wedding is a joyful celebration of love, commitment, and God’s blessing on your life together. At King of Kings, we would be honored to walk with you as you prepare for marriage and to celebrate your wedding day in a way that reflects your faith, your story, and God’s presence in your relationship. Pr. Garrett will work with you to create a service that is personal, meaningful, and rooted in the promises of God’s love.

When a loved one dies, we gather in hope and trust that nothing—not even death—can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. A funeral or memorial service is both a time to grieve and a time to give thanks for the life of the one we love. Pr. Garrett and our church community will walk with you in this tender time, offering care, support, and a service that honors your loved one while proclaiming the promise of resurrection.
