Our Mission
to be a safe place to Explore Faith, Live beyond Labels, and Find Deep-Rooted Community.
Our Vision
Discovering Our God-Given Call in Community
As a community, we seek purpose and meaning beyond ourselves. To Discover Our God-given Call in Community, is to explore how God has made us all beautifully connected and has uniquely created us to participate in a much larger story. Together in Spirit, we explore faith and embody what it means to love our neighbor, community, and world. We live this by regularly gathering to share in meals, conversation, partnerships, prayer, service, worship, and overall life. You, too, can find belonging here. We invite you to join us as we journey!
Our Values
CHRISTIANity
Martin Luther called John 3:16 the heart of the Bible, and the Gospel in miniature. The Christian faith, centered around the Good News of Jesus Christ, is the central value of our life, church, and community.
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Curiosity
God has given us a deep appreciation for life and a thirst to explore greater purpose and social good together. Therefore, we cultivate safe spaces that allow for honesty, curiosity, exploration, conversation, learning, and reflection. We utilize God’s Word to help us grow in our understanding of God and God’s deep desire to have a relationship with us.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.
Community
Following Jesus’s example, we believe in embracing diversity and emptying ourselves of things that separate us in order to become deeply connected with God and one another. Church provides opportunities to get to know, pray for, and come to love others.
Ephesians 2:19-20
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.
Calling
We are all called, in and through the Holy Spirit, to join God’s work of redeeming, renewing, and resurrecting this world. God is currently making all things new, and we have been uniquely created and given incredible gifts so we can contribute to this work.
Romans 8:28
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
Compassion
God calls us to be witnesses to his transforming grace by showing compassion in our homes, locally, and throughout the world. Supporting various missions through volunteering or sharing our resources enables us to express our gratitude for our blessings by loving all of creation.
Luke 10:27
[Jesus] answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."
