Outdoor Fellowship

KKDS gathers regularly outdoors in order to share in recreation, life experiences, community service, and creation care opportunities. There is something inspiring about taking time to be present with each other within nature and God’s created world. Below are some examples of our gatherings. Come see what it is all about!

There are some amazing trails through beautiful Northern Virginia! Every month, we choose a different path for our 2 to 3-mile nature hike. Along the way, we pause to share a brief passage and our thoughts. Visit our Facebook page to see where we are going next. All ages are welcome, so invite your co-workers, family, and friends. We meet in the designated parking lot at 8:30 AM before heading out in all kinds of weather to share in a lot of laughter!

Every 2nd Saturday, June - November, we volunteer at the JK Community Farm in Purcellville, Virginia, from 9-12 PM. Come PLANT-GROW-HARVEST-FEED as everything harvested goes to provide for the locally food insecure. Volunteers are encouraged to visit The JK Community Farm website to sign-up or let Pr. Garrett know you're coming! All ages welcome!
