Rooted in Christ. Inclusive in Spirit. Active in Love.
Are you searching for a church where faith comes alive through inspiring worship, meaningful discipleship, genuine fellowship, and heartfelt service? If so, you’ve come to the right place.
At King of Kings Lutheran Church, we invite you to grow spiritually, build lasting relationships, and discover purpose in serving others. We are a growing, Spirit-led community in the Dulles South area of Loudoun County, committed to sharing the unconditional love of Jesus in all we do.
We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:00 AM at Goshen Post Elementary School, and on occasion outdoors at Meadow Glen Park Pavilion, which is adjacent to the school.
We believe that “in Christ, all are one.” (Gal. 3:28)
We are a community of believers and questioners of all ages and backgrounds, cultures and colors, abilities and gifts. We welcome and affirm all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. We honor the diverse ways God creates us and are committed to pursuing justice for all, rejecting discrimination and racism in every form. Here, anyone can live beyond societal labels, finding a place to worship, celebrate, grieve, rejoice, renew, and discover our God-given call to serve and love our neighbors.
We invite you to journey with us in faith, hope, and love.
All are welcome.

Everything the farm produces goes to provide for the locally and regionally food insecure. Come plant, harvest, and gather food together on Saturday, June 13, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM; or stay as long as you are able. All ages are welcome. Contact Pr. Garrett for more information.
Join us on Sunday, June 14 at 10:00 AM at 10:00 AM at Goshen Post E.S. and online via YouTube Live as we celebrate the graduates in our King of Kings community during worship. Youth in grades 6–12 are invited to join us for our Summer Camping Trip to Smith Mountain Lake on June 17–19. Together, we’ll enjoy a few days of fun at the lake, including boating, tubing, games, and time spent outdoors in community. Along the way, we’ll also engage in meaningful conversations about young leaders in the Bible and what it means to live with courage, faith, and purpose today. Spots are limited, so please contact Pr. Garrett to RSVP or learn more about the trip. We hope you’ll join us for this memorable summer experience!
Gather for a special Expressions of Worship gathering on Sunday, June 21, at 10:00 AM at Goshen Post E.S. and online via YouTube Live, as we honor Juneteenth through the gift and witness of African American spirituals. Together, we will sing, reflect, and deepen our understanding of how these songs of faith emerged from suffering, sustained hope, and continue to speak to the life of the church today. These spirituals are testimony, resistance, prayer, and proclamation. Come experience this meaningful morning as we celebrate the enduring faith, resilience, and witness carried through such sacred music! All are welcome.
Get ready for KKDS Hungry to Serve Youth Week! Students in grades 6–12 will spend June 22–26 serving with local organizations that support neighbors experiencing food insecurity, including the Dulles South Food Pantry and JK Community Farm. Each day, we’ll partner with a different ministry or nonprofit to learn, serve, and grow together in faith and compassion. The cost is $30 per participant, space is limited, and friends are welcome! Contact Pr. Garrett with any questions or to RSVP today!
Join us for our next monthly nature hike on Saturday, June 27, at 8:30 AM. We are headed to Conway Robinson State Forest. Plan to meet in the parking lot, and then along our hike, we’ll pause for a brief reflection together. This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and connect with God and one another. Please RSVP to Pr. Garrett so we can wait for you in the parking lot. All are welcome.
Join us for Brunch Church on Sunday, June 28, at 10:00 AM atGoshen Post E.S. and online via YouTube Live. This relaxed, potluck-style worship gathering invites us to slow down, share a meal, and experience worship through conversation, prayer, fellowship, and community around the table. During worship, we will also commission our ASP team as they prepare to serve in Appalachia through home repair and rebuilding ministry. Bring a dish to share if you’re able, but most importantly, come as you are. All are welcome at the table.
Join for Outdoor Worship on Sunday, July 5th, at Meadow Glen Park and online via YouTube Live at 10:00 AM. This week, we hear Jesus’ gracious invitation: “Come to me, all you who are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” In a world that often leaves us exhausted and overwhelmed, Christ welcomes us with mercy, renewal, and peace. Gathered around Word, water, and meal, we are reminded that God’s love is for everyone and that true rest is found in the presence of Christ. Come as you are and join us for worship in the beauty of creation. All are welcome.
Gather for worship on Sunday, July 12 at 10:00 AM at Goshen Post E.S. and online via YouTube Live. This week’s readings invite us to reflect on how God’s word is like rain that waters the earth and brings forth vegetation, and like a sower who scatters seed indiscriminately. Even from what appears to be little, dormant, or dead, God promises a harvest. Come as you are, bring a friend, and join as we worship, pray, and celebrate the Good News of God’s grace and love. All are welcome!
Our Upcoming Faith Formation Study
Our next six-week video Bible study will be on: The Holy Spirit: God's Presence and Power at Work in Us. Together, we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about the Holy Spirit—from the Hebrew Bible, to Jesus’ promises in the Gospels, to Pentecost in Acts, and the New Testament letters. We’re hoping to host the study on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM, beginning in the fall. If you’re interested in participating, please reach out to Pastor Garrett. All are welcome.
Our Previous Faith Formation Study
During Lent, we explored The Grace of Les Misérables, a six-week study looking at the powerful themes at the heart of Victor Hugo’s beloved story. The study focused on six ideals—grace, justice, poverty, revolution, love, and hope—each embodied by a character from Les Misérables. Through the intersection of faith and culture, we reflected on how these themes connect to Scripture and call us to live out our Christian faith with intention and compassion. It was enjoyed by all!
