Our Approach to Leadership

God never intended the burden of ministerial leadership to rest upon one individual. Instead, God created each of us with different abilities and gifts, inviting and empowering us to use them to minister to each other and to a world in need. We envision a church culture that fosters and mobilizes all of God’s people to be involved in leadership and ministry. We would love for you to help lead our church into the future.

PASTOR Garrett Wolf

Pastor Garrett graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, with Bachelor’s in Finance and Decision Sciences before pursuing a 10-year career in corporate finance. In 2011, after earning an MBA at American Public University System, he transitioned careers by responding to a call to serve as the Minister to Children and Youth at Ox Hill Baptist Church in Chantilly, Virginia. In 2018, Garrett graduated from John Leland Center for Theological Studies in Arlington, with a Master’s in Divinity. Shortly thereafter, in August 2018, he joined the staff of King of Kings Lutheran Church as the Missions Pastor and began the exciting journey towards planting our new campus in Dulles South. In addition, he completed his studies at McAfee School of Theology and was awarded his Doctor of Ministry degree from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia in May of 2022.

A Note From PASTOR Garrett

My family and I are Northern Virginians, so we are no strangers to the transient and demanding nature of this area. Yet, we feel God has placed us in ministry in Dulles South because of the potential our area presents. Just imagine the impact the church can have, sharing the Good News of God’s love for the world, if we could harness the rich diversity, resources, and capabilities of our surrounding area.

My wife, Niki, and I have been married since 2003, and we have three wonderful-awesome kids! As a family, we love the beach, playing group games, trying out odd new flavors of snacks, and participating in or spectating at a wide variety of sports.

Personally, I love listening to people’s stories, doing volunteer work, enjoying nature, learning, encouraging others, and sharing in faith. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Loudoun Interfaith Bridges, Dulles South Neighborhood Closet, Dulles South Food Pantry, John Champe Athletic Booster Club, and my community HOA.
